In Texas, a first-time DWI conviction is a class B misdemeanor, punishable by up to six months in jail and a $2,000.00 fine. A third DWI conviction is a third degree felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000.00 fine.

Martin was born and raised in Dallas, and outside of the years he attended the University of Texas and the University of Texas School of Law, he has lived in Dallas for his entire life.
In 1977, Martin LeNoir began his legal career as a prosecutor working for the legendary District Attorney, Henry Wade, rising to the rank of chief felony prosecutor.
In 1982, Martin LeNoir began representing citizens accused of crimes ranging from driving while intoxicated to capital murder.
